As you know, there has been (and will continue to be) a great deal of investment into our club. From new nets, covers and ground equipment, to new payment systems and Wi-Fi in the pavilion, the club is always looking to use its funds to move us forwards. Indeed this season sees the installation of two new electronic scoreboards which will be a great modern addition.
As a group of players, we have come together to see if there is anything we can do to contribute and have decided upon an idea to “crowd-fund” a FrogBox. A FrogBox is a live streaming camera which will allow us live broadcast cricket at The Quarters onto YouTube. We can locate it on either pitch, so that mens, womens, boys and girls games can all be covered allowing those parents, players, friends and family who are unable to come to the ground, to watch Hursley Park CC from the comfort of their own homes, or from anywhere in the world!
We are asking for small (voluntary) contributions from playing members, friends and families to help us reach our target of £1,500 for an initiative that will benefit the whole club.
